My Humblest Apologies

LDs, I have not meant to neglect you for so long. I'm just...stuck...yet the fuck again. See, I read a blog a couple of weeks ago that made the comment about "quality, not quantity." I strive for quality...sometimes. Other times (like Bitch and Moan Monday, which I will do again), it's all swearing fluff and random brain vomit.

See, I don't have "I fly the bird at you" stories like Kisha and Aunt Becky (and I love these two like we've been friends since we were twelve, even though we've never met).

I don't have the "little extras" that Jen and Kelle (these two are inspiring - love you, Jen).

I'm not a persevering champion like Missus Gamgee or someone who disects books like several HP sites I read (can't you just let a story be a story?), although Mrs. G and I both share a passion for Harry and Hobbits (I've got the feet and the food thing down pat).

I don't even have what Avitable's does (and I deffo don't want it! *evil grin).

I'm going to try to post two or three times a week. It may be something that makes you weep, or one that makes you snort tea all over your monitor (might want a full-computer rubber for those days *smirk)

Or, it might just be "fuck it - here's how my day went" or "things that don't belong in bodily orifices" (orifici?) or "I saved another life today because I didn't shoot anyone!"

I've got a couple, and even have a BnM Monday for later on :)

I'm also designing a change to our spare room (now that's it's more cleaned out than it was before - you can see the floor!) so that we can work out and move the computers in there.

I know I'm weird, LDs. Kooky. Crazy. Odd. Different. Strange. I seem to say that more often than I should.

I. Am. Weird.

But I just had a very weird daydreamlet. It's a crazy crush. Like the kind you got in junior high about the popular boy with the great hair and killer smile and always made everyone feel liked.

Has anyone else found themselves crushing on someone? Even if you're married, you can still get crushes.

But I mean someone totally inappropriate?

Like if you told anyone, they'd go "What the fuck? You need some shock therapy followed by some really, really good drugs.

Here are some totally WTF-ness questions about your Mrs Dreamer:

Apple juice or orange juice? Half and half. Straight orange juice makes my belly ache, but straight apple makes my teeth ache. Mixing the two is nice.

Are you a morning or night person? O LDs, I'm very much an afternoon/night person. If you try to talk to me before I've had my shower and about an hour to wake up, I'd just as soon turn dragon, bite your head off, toast the pieces of you and then step over you to the next.

Which do you prefer, sweet or salty foods? Depends on the time of the month. PMSing gets sweet; most other times, salty/savory.

What was your favorite childhood television program? Reading Rainbow, Mr. Rogers, Sesame Street. I sobbed for hours when Mr. Hooper from Sesame Street died.

Are you a collector of anything? Books. Notebooks/journals. Ducks. John Deere items.

If you could be any animal, what would you be? A fox: clever and beautiful.

What do you usually think about right before falling asleep? Whatever book I'm reading. I have to read to fall asleep. (amen Mrs G!)

What’s your favorite color? I used to say blue. I'm so not a colorist (kind of like racist, only with color? Anyone?). My favorite shirt is a rainbow-hued tie-dye one.

Do you believe in extraterrestrials or life on other planets? Very much so. I don't believe that we're the only intelligent life out there. Hell, there are times when I don't think there's intelligent life on this planet.

Do you believe in ghosts? Yes.

Ever been addicted to a video/computer game? WoW. Spent weekends not moving from in front of my computer.

You’re given 1 million dollars, what do you spend it on? Pay off debt and mortgage. Pay off parentals debt. Build our dream home. Go back to school. Travel. Lasik. Personal trainer.

Have any bad habits? Do you really think I'm going to tell you? I leave most thinks where they fall.

List 3 of your worst personality traits: I procrastinate, I have a tendency to start things and then lose interest, and I can be a bit of a nag.

If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go? The UK. Europe. Australia. All 50 states. Canada.
